Atlanta Weather | Snow North, Rain For Us

A warm front located over the southern parts of the state will move north today providing a chance for light rain and drizzle. Clouds and glooming looking for the most part today.  Steady showers will move in tonight as an area of low pressure drags a cold front through.
That same area of low pressure is forecast to move from eastern Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley and up the Appalachian Mountains to the New England States, dumping heavy snow as it moves along.

Here we are only expecting rain. The rain will be heavy at times through the overnight into Wednesday morning. Your morning commute will be soggy, but skies should clear by the afternoon.  Thursday should also remain dry, before more rain moves back in by Friday.
