The Official Christmas Forecast for 2013 | Weather
The way it is looking right now for Christmas is going to be totally dependent on this cold front that we have headed in here this weekend. Here is the setup:
Saturday - Monday a cold front will approach the state and really warm the temps up around here starting Friday! Then as we head into the weekend we will see rain chances go up for Saturday and Sunday. The actual front will push through the state late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Before the front pushes through the state we could see 1-2" of rain!!
As the front moves through we will have Canadian high pressure settle in to the north and give us some cool air on Monday and Tuesday. Now depending on exactly where this area of high pressure sets up will determine if we are in the 40's and cloudy on Christmas Day, or sunny with temps in the lower 50's.
Right now I am calling for dry conditions with temps in the lower 50's with sunshine for Christmas Day. Stay tuned for updates in the forecast!
