Foggy & Stormy Christmas Day | Weather
Tonight mostly cloudy skies becoming overcast skies late with overnight low temperatures in the mid 40s. Dense fog will also develop shortly after 11pm and continue through late Christmas morning.
Cloudy Christmas Day with showers and possibly a thunderstorm (after noon), along with East winds around 5-10mph. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s.
Starting Tuesday night, heavy showers come back to the area. Those will change over to thunderstorms late, and some of them will be severe. East winds will be 10-15mph gusting up to 25mph. Overnight low temperatures will be mild around 50 degrees.
Showers and thunderstorms continue through Wednesday morning, and then taper off as we approach the afternoon. High temperatures will be cooler only in the low 50s. Some snow flurries are possible in the higher elevations of Georgia for Wednesday night.
