Light Rain and Some Sleep Falling | Weather

Light rain and a few areas of sleet continue to move across the metro this evening. Temps are in the lower 50's and upper 40's so there will be no travel problems. There is a layer of very cold and dry air at the mid levels that is cooling rapidly around rain as it falls causing the rain drops to freeze. We will continue to see light rain with some embedded sleet pellet in and around the metro through around 10pm.
