Nice Friday, Record Hot Weekend? | Weather
Cloud cover will remain in place for most of the day today with high temperatures getting up to the low 60s.
Mostly cloudy skies for tonight with overnight low temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Some areas of patchy fog are possible after midnight.
On Saturday cloud cover in the morning, breaks a bit and makes way for partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Temperatures warm up to the upper 60s with light southwest winds. The record for Saturday is 76° set back in 1978, so while we are well above normal, we will be too far off to break the record. However, things warm up even more for Sunday with highs in the low 70s. Record is 76 for Sunday set back in 2007. Showers and thunderstorms return Monday, some of which could produce gusty winds. Then the colder temperatures return starting Tuesday.
