A Nice Cool Down is Coming, Possible Wedge Late Week | Weather
Title (Max 100 Characters)
It's official, today we tied a record set back in 1982 when we hit 74 degrees!! That's the south for ya, wearing shorts in December. We weren't the only state to set record highs though, almost every state in the south east had record highs this afternoon!! This very warm spell has about one more day until we go back to the 50's for a while, that day officially starts on Wednesday when the rain chances go back up! There is a weak disturbance with a cold front that will be moving through the area on Wednesday that will bring in some rain, then some colder air will follow it. Unfortunately the rain amounts look meager with most of the computer models only putting out around a tength of an inch.
Mid Range / End of the Week
It appears that after this front moves through we could get a bit of a mini wedge as we head into the weekend. Look below to see how the temps set up perfectly like a wedge, mainly Thursday and Friday. Both of those days look cloudy and cool!
Big Cool Down Next Week??
Take a look at the image below and you will see the first real chance at us seeing a blast of cold air come down in this direction! Why am I saying the first real chance?? Well, it is because it is the EURO model that is calling for it. Those insanely cold temps that are in Alaska and parts of Canada tonight might break loose and send us into some serious winter temps next week!!! I will keep you updated!
