We will start out with plenty of sunshine today, but clouds will be moving in late afternoon and tonight. The dry conditions will continue this afternoon. Humidity levels will be below 25% and south winds between 5 to 10mph. The low fuel moisture values will combine to produce fire weather conditions. A cold front is forecast to push into the area tonight and Tuesday, bring a chance for showers. Only minimal instability at this time, although we have enough shear to generate a embedded thunderstorm. I think the better threat for thunderstorms will be over central GA on Tuesday.
