Early Fall Cold Front Coming to N Georgia!! | Weather
Ok, it appears that we might be seeing our first strong cold front of the year heading in this direction set to move into the state late Saturday night into early Sunday morning! Both of the computer models that I look at that go long range are bringing this thing in with some very cool air coming in behind that front. This would actually make good sense since before Isaac came in and threw up all this warm moist air we were in a cooler than normal pattern. This front coming in later this week would be the same pattern as we had before, essentially picking up right where it left off.
Take a look at the models below, notice that both of them mare almost the same on timing and intensity of the front. Also, if you look at the MOS data down below you will notice that there are some very cool mornings coming in here as well. The cool thing is that if it is 60 at the airport, then means in the north burbs we will be talking mid 50's with the possibility of seeing upper 40's in the mountains!! I will keep you updated!
