More Rain Moving into the Metro Area | Weather

Another area of heavy rain has developed out west and is moving right towards metro Atlanta. As of right now there are no warnings on this area of rain nor do I anticipate that happening. There are a few lightning strikes from the storm moving into parts of Polk county as of 9:30 tonight, but all the other areas of rain are lightning free. The cluster of "storms" is moving towards the east at around 25mph and should move through the metro area around 10-11pm. More storms are expected across the state later tomorrow afternoon as a cold front moves through, check back here on the blog at around 11pm and I will have a post about tomorrow's scenario.
