Tonight we are looking at partly cloudy with one or two showers around the state, much less than we have seen the last few days. Temps will continue to hover in the lower 80's through around 7pm and then fall off into the mid 70's through the late evening hours. If you are heading to the braves game we will see a warm night with almost no chance for showers. High pressure will dominate our weather tonight and keep our winds from the north at around 3-6 mph. Tomorrow will start partly cloudy with temps in the lower 60's, temps by noon tomorrow will be back in the 70's. By later tomorrow afternoon an upper low in S Carolina will move back a bit and pop some showers in the eastern sections of the state which will actually move from the east to the west.
As we head towards the weekend the upper low that is now moving across the Gulf Coast will continue to head eastward through the weekend. That will leave the southern and eastern fringes of the metro area with a very slim chance of an afternoon t-storm. For the rest of the metro area we will see temps in the lower 80's with morning lows in the lower 60's. Wind will be from the ENE so humidity will be a bit lower than the last few days. Look for a great weekend weather wise!
