I got a good response to the earlier blog giving specific planning info for the Halloween forecast. I am posting that info again in case you missed it earlier. I also updated the video forecast above.
First, be aware of another frost advisory in effect for metro Atlanta, north Georgia and central Georgia overnight tonight into Monday morning. Temps won't be as cold as it was this morning, but there will be some areas with some patchy frost developing early Monday.
We will have a few clouds mixing in with the sun at times, but temps will rebound with a high of 63.
Now for the specifics for Monday evening. The sun will set at 6:47. That means, around 6:30, there will still be some sunlight left as the sun nears the horizon. After the sun sets at 6:47, there will still be a little light illuminated the sky for a little while longer. It will be dark just after 7pm. Keep that in mind when sending the little ones out. Make sure they are prepared with flashlights as it gets darker.
Weather-wise, it won't be too spooky out there. It will be mostly clear. Temps will get a little cooler after the sun goes down. We will generally be falling through the 50s for the evening. Here is an hour by hour look at the evening temps:
6pm-59
7pm-57
8pm-54
9pm-51
Shouldn't be too hot or too cold for the trick or treaters and it will remain dry!
