11Alive Meteorologist Chris Holcomb says the strongest storms can be expected to the south and west of Metro Atlanta, but doesn't rule out severe weather for the area Tuesday evening and into the overnight hours.
Major threats include high winds, vivid lightning, heavy rains and possible hail. A possible tornado cannot be ruled out with this storm system.
The entire 11Alive Weather Information Zone team will be hard at work Tuesday and into Wednesday to make sure that the latest information is available on the air and online.
