(WXIA) - A new video released by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey shows extensive flooding at PATH station in Hoboken and Jersey City from Hurricane Sandy.
The security camera footage shows ticket machines and turnstiles with water rushing by. One image near the end of the video shows water flowing around closed elevator doors into the Hoboken PATH station.
PATH trains normally run underneath the Hudson River between New Jersey and two stations in Manhattan - at the World Trade Center station in lower Manhattan and additional stations between Christopher Street and 33rd Street in Manhattan.
