Storming Firing Up Again | News

They are firing up again.  We are seeing numerous showers and thunderstorms growing all over the area.  The strongest storms have been producing pea and dime size hail and 40mph winds.  The aren't moving too much.  Some are stationary and some are drifting toward the SE at only 5mph.

Radar shows a line of these storms developing right along I-85 north of the 985 split stretching down to the south of spaghetti junction.  More storms in south Fulton and Douglas county with heavy rain and small hail, too.

Field Meteorologist Allison Chincar is in the heavy rain this afternoon in the Tucker/Lilburn area.  Check out her picture of the heavy rain and some minor flooding on some of the roads.
