More heavy rain last night left some area under water this morning, and more heavy rain is on the way. The stationary front that we have been discussing all week remains just to the north of our area and will be the focus of energy for the storms. The storms will drop some very heavy down pours and frequent lightning. Small hail is also possible. Highs this afternoon will be lower due to the cloud cover.

The front will slowly left north and wash out. This will lower our chances for Thunderstorms, but with all the available moisture in the atmosphere will keep at 20 to 30% chance of thunderstorms in the forecast through the weekend and into the beginning of next week.
