Weekend Outlook | WEATHER BLOG

Pretty intense storms rolled through parts of metro Atlanta last night.  The heaviest storms with hail were generally north and west of Atlanta.  We cleared out overnight to a nice start this morning.

We will have mostly sunny skies early, then turn partly cloudy this afternoon.  There is less than a 20% chance of a shower today.  Any rain chances will be a little higher in extreme north Georgia and in southeast Georgia.

Temperatures will be comfortable today.  We will have a high of 81.  We will hold in the low 80s Saturday, then move to the mid 80s on Sunday with mostly sunny skies.  The WIZometer will be a 10 on Saturday and Sunday.

Our next rain chance comes in on Tuesday.  It's not a huge chance for showers.  We are only talking about a 20-30% chance.  Temps will get a little warmer for the week ahead.  By Thursday, our highs will be near 87.
