Just a few showers around early, but with a front approaching the area, look for more showers and thunderstorms to pop up later this afternoon. High temps will be in the low 80s.

The front is forecast to push through the area tonight and push into central and southern GA by Wednesday afternoon. We will be watching to see how far south the front pushes, as we will see thunderstorms ahead of the front. Right now the thunderstorms are forecast to be south of the city.

Behind the front, the weather will cool down and the sunshine returns. The sunny skies will last through the weekend.
