Warm Start to Spring Break | News

Another warm day is on tap for us. Mostly sunny skies this afternoon, with highs in the low 80s. A cold front currently moving through the Mid-Atlantic States will drop south toward us. Some models have the front moving into the state which would bring an increase in clouds and the chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Other models show the front stalling north of the area which would bring a few clouds at best Tuesday.

Better chance of showers will be on Wednesday as the next system slowly moves eastward.

Long Term:

  The rain chance will continue Thursday, and end Friday as a slow moving cut off low pushes east. Skies will clear just in time for the weekend. Temps will drop a touch over the weekend, back into the mid 70s.
