Weak disturbances will continue to push into our area bring mostly clouds and a chance of showers. We will keep a slight chance for showers in the forecast for Wednesday afternoon and a chance for isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the North GA. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with a southerly flow, expect temps to rise into the mid to upper 60s. Another wave will approach the area Thursday. Ahead of the front, clouds will increase and we will have a better chance for scattered showers. Highs ahead of the front will be well into the 60s. Some spots will reach 70. Rain should move in by later afternoon or early evening.

Long Term:

The forecast right now has the front moving through the area by Friday afternoon, although the models are flip flopping on timing. Right now will keep the showers in the forecast for Friday AM and the possibility for an afternoon thunderstorm. Skies clear out by Friday evening, bringing Sunshine for the weekend with slightly cooler temps.
