ATLANTA --There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We've listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

The 30th Annual Storytelling Festival is wrapping up in Downtown Decatur on Saturday afternoon. Children's stories will be read at 701 West Howard Street in Decatur and there will also be workshops for those who want to get into storytelling. Admission to the events range between $9 and $18.

Underground Atlanta will host their Black in Film series on Saturday afternoon. They'll be featuring the documentary, "A Century of Black Cinema". The program starts at 2:00 p.m.

The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater has returned to Atlanta. The dance troupe is under the direction of a new artistic director but will be performing some of their classics. The show is running at the FOX Theater from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or at Ticketmaster outlets.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center will be opening at Phipps Plaza on March 17 and there are a hundred part-time jobs up for grabs. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday resumes will be reviewed and applicants interviewed at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead. Entertainment experience is preferred for jobs that include entertainers, cashiers and food and beverage personnel.

Take the kids and check out one of the circuses in town. The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus will be held at Phillips Arena while across the street in the Turner Field parking lot, the UniverSoul Circus continues. Tickets to these two events range from $90 to $130 and can be purchased at the event box offices or a Ticketmaster outlets.

Get ready for more glitter and hair gel than you can handle. CHEERSPORT is holding their National Cheerleading Championships at the Georgia World Congress Center, this weekend. Cheerleading squads from all over the country will be in Atlanta competing for the top spot, as the CHEERSPORT National Champion. Visit them online for more information.

Bonner Brothers will be holding their 65th Annual International Hair Show, this weekend, at the Georgia World Congress Center. The hair show will feature classes like No More Relaxer, Organic Hair Coloring, Threading and other hair care and instructional classes. Visit them online for more information.

Lace up your running shoes on Saturday morning and join the Lakers of Clayton State University for their 5k and walk. The event is the first of it's kind in the city of Morrow and it will begin, promptly, at 9:00 a.m. Registration for the event costs $25 and half of the proceeds will benefit the family of Zac Bradley, a CSU basketball player who was recently paralyzed. Refreshments will be offered after the event. 

Some Gwinnett County residents will need to re-route on Saturday morning. Ronald Reagan parkway will be closed until 2:00 p.m. for the Run the Reagan race. The race offers varying distances, including the half-marathon at 9:00 a.m. and the one-mile fun run. Registration for this event is $55. 

The Locomotive 5k and Half-Marathon will begin at 7:30 on Saturday afternoon. The half-marathon will begin at Town Center Mall and costs $70. The 5k race begins at the same place at 8:00 p.m. and costs $30 to participate. After the race, a party will be held for participants. 

Although Valetntine's Day is over, it's not too late to keep tabs on your heart. 11Alive is working with Gwinnett Medical Center for the Pledge for a Healthy Heart. From 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. to undergo all sorts of medical tests and learn hoe to live. The check-ups will hel at the Gwinnett Center Grand Ballroom. 

Drop Dead Diva will be holding a casting call in Peachtree City on Saturday afternoon. The show is looking for people 18 years old and older to drop by the Peachtree City Farmer's Market between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and wear brightly colored clothing. Please supply two forms of identification and arrive on time.
