Moisture Moves Out, Cold Moves In-WEATHER BLOG
We still have some clouds and patchy light rain that is moving out of the area during the evening hours. In the higher elevations of north Georgia, there may be just a few snow flurries. We aren't expecting any accumulations there.
There is a bigger area of moisture in Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia that is causing more snow. They are having accumulations there with some tricky driving conditions.
We won't have anything like that here. We will get the cold air diving down from the north. Temps by morning will get close to the freezing mark. We will get down to 34 degrees in Atlanta. Many areas outside the city will hit freezing around sunrise.
We will see a good bit of sun on your Presidents' Day. Temps will top off at 56.
